WATERS
River Ancholme: Sole rights both banks, South Ferriby to Bishopbridge.
River Rase: Both banks, Harlem Lock to Carr Lane, there-after on the East Drain to Bishopbridge.
Three Rivers: Pilfrey Bridge to a point halfway to the railway bridge towards Keadby.
River Trent: Dunham Bridge, West bank, upstream including small lake.
South Clifton: East bank accesses at Trent Lane and the old power station car-park.
Girton: East bank, pedestrian access only from Green Lane.
Besthorpe: East bank upstream from Waddingham Lane access. East bank downstream beyond Iron and Steel waters.
Keadby Canal: Mauds Bridge to Keadby Basin. South bank, no fishing railway side.
RULES
Bloodworm and Joker banned. No live baiting. Two rods maximum per angler on all waters, butts to be no more than one metre apart. No fishing in areas pegged out for matches from dusk the previous day .
No night fishing on the Ancholme, Three Rivers, or River Trent.
All persons aged 12 years and over must be in possession of a current Rod Licence and Scunthorpe and District Association members yearbook or day members ticket.
Pollution or distressed fish call the Environment Agency Hotline 0800 80 70 60 24 hours a day.

HUNTERS LODGE, ELSHAM: A complex of five ponds, three of which are ¾ acres, No1 is the main carp water holding fish to 30 lb. No2 holds carp to 19½ lb as well as silver fish. No 3 hold all species (except gudgeon and ruffe) including ide and barbel, No4 is ¼ acre with carp to 12 lb, plus tench roach, chub and bream. MESSINGHAM SANDS: At over 60 acres, one of the largest commercial fisheries in the country.
Divided into three groups:- 1 Match Fishing. 2. Day Ticket Fishing.3 Syndicate Fishing. Lakes are specifically set aside for each discipline.
MATCH LAKES
SWAN POND: About 8 acres with 58 pegs. Lake record 210 lb. Huge match catches commonplace with a number of 200 lb plus. Carp from 1 lb to 21 lb with a large head of 6lb to 8 lb fish. Roach and bream to 2 lb, perch to 3 lb, tench to 4 lb plus, crucians, brown goldfish, ide and chublets.
ISLANDS LAKE: About 12 acres. with 65 pegs. Lake record, 182 lb. A good mix of carp to 8 lb, bream to 4 lb, perch to 4 lb, chub to 4 lb, roach to 2 lb, curia's to 1 lb 8 oz, trench to 4 lb. Silver fish nets over 100 lb taken in matches due to good average size of species. Carp tend to dominate in summer with 100lb plus commonplace.
TRIPP LAKE: About five acres, 36 pegs. Float only venue, record 120 lb. three main species feature in matches, Carp, 1 lb to 1 lb 8 oz; skimmer bream 6 oz to 2 lb, other species chub, perch roach and ruddy.
DAY TICKET WATERS
OAK TREE POND: About 3 acres, 50 pegs. Extremely popular with two dominant species, Carp 1 lb to 14 lb, mostly in the 1 lb to 4 lb range; Bream, 4 oz to 2 lb. Other species include chub, barbel, rudd and crucians. Extremely prolific water producing a lot of 100 lb plus catches by many methods.
NORTH DAY TICKET WATER: About 1½ acres, 20 pegs.
SOUTH DAY TICKET WATER: About 2 acres 20 pegs. The fish stocks are similar in both waters with many surprises. Carp are generally of good size with fish up over 20 lb and catfish are present to 22 lb and perch to over 4 lb. A good head of skimmer bream plus fish to 5 lb. The roach fishing is excellent with a large stock in the 4 oz to 2 lb range. Some real specimens exist in these waters and a variety of fishing methods work.
SYNDICATE WATERS: Anglers pay an annual subscription and are able to fish on two lakes. Night fishing is allowed.
SPECIMEN LAKE: About 5acres, 30 pegs. Carp to 20 lb plus, Catfish to 28 lb, pike to 26 lb other species include roach bream and perch.
LITTLE POND: About 2 acres, 20 pegs. A good mixed fishery with a lot of roach, perch, bream, chub, crucian carp etc plus carp to 20 lb.
FEES: Match Pegs..£6-50; Day Tickets..£5-00 adult, £4-00 concessionary, (OAP and disabled); Syndicate £95-00 per year.
