BEN SIMPSON: Goalkeeper. Playing his first full season at this level last term, Ben had a mixed season. But is expected to fulfil his potential.
STEVE ROBINSON: Defender. Rangers Captain Fantastic last year. Used his experience from playing at Bridlington and North Ferriby to bring on the youngsters around him as well as leading by example.
BILLY GREEN: Defender. In his 10th season at Rangers after signing from Appleby-Frodingham. A consistent performer who converted to right-back last term.
DAVE RICARDO: Midfield. Combative midfielder, strong in the tackle Dave can play the holding role and is good on the ball. Previous clubs include Beverley Town and Hall Road Rangers. Lost his place midway through last term, but showed real grit and determination to end the season with some good performances.
ROSS HAYWOOD: Midfield/Defence. A youngster who played for manager Pete Daniel at Pontefract. Left-sided, Ross can go round players and is very fit.
MARK WHITEHOUSE: Midfield. Another from Pontefract, Mark has improved with each game, has become a regular on the left of midfield, and is a real threat as he runs at defences.
JAMES ATKINSON: Defence. Signed from Hall Road Rangers, settled well into central defence alongside Steve Robinson.
ANDY HOLT: Midfield/Forward. Came from Appleby-Frodingham and started as a midfielder, but has been given a role up front and grasped it with both hands. Scored 25 goals last season. Very strong and hard-working.
ROB NORTHEN: Forward. Signed from North Ferriby and has been a revelation, very quick and an eye for goal. Scored 25 goals in his second-straight 20-goal season.
CRAIG SHARPLESS: Midfield. Craig had a good pre-season where he looked a good prospect last year, then injury struck meaning only a few outings. Again has looked good in pre-season at full back and will be pressing for a starting spot.
SCOTT PHILLIPS: Midfield. Signed last season but only made a couple of appearances. Big lad playing in central midfield.
ANDY CATTON: Midfield. Signed from Pontefract and was their leading scorer last term. Has started on the right side of midfield with some quality performances.
DANNY CLARKE: Midfield. Ex-Hull City Junior, has impressed in the centre of the pitch. Very good feet, and a good engine, can get from box to box all game.
CARL HODGESON: Midfield. Youngster hoping to make the grade, is recovering from a long-term injury but has shown some good touches
LUKE SMITHSON: Defence. Luke has been around the club a couple of seasons has played in midfield and at full-back but prefers a central defensive role.
CALLUM DRANSFIELD: Striker. Another signing from Hall Road Rangers. Early days, as he broke an arm after only a couple of games.
STEVEN UNDERWOOD: Midfield. Signed from Bridlington. Ex-Halifax Town, North Ferriby and Harrogate Town player - adds some extra quality to the midfield.
LEE MOHAMMED: Midfield/Striker. New signing pre-season, looks like a quality find, only young but very promising. Features an impressive back-flip celebration.
