Adkins thread on Iron Bru| Author | Message |

Reads like it could be true, certainly sounds like something our club would do or not as the case may be. If this is true then I've had it with this football club and I'm sure many others will feel the same. RUBBISH IRON |

I can't blame him for wanting a new challenge though. It is now up to Wharton and Co to convince Nigel to stay with us, but the difference between Wharton having a go or not are two complete different things. We will get the same old quotes like "We tried all we could to keep Nigel here at this football club". "Nigel wanted a new challenge and I can't stand in his way". I really am concerned for our club if Nigel goes now. I am not convinced that Crosby or Baraclough are ready for managing. It will be one of the two that gets the job when Adkins goes. It will frustrate me to say the very least. Neither of them have any managing experience. Adkins did have some experience before he took the job on here with Bangor. He took them to 2 titles if I am thinking correctly. This is now make or break for our season. If Nigel stays I think we will do great like we are, but if he goes oh dear I am concerned a bit. We will no doubt appoint either Crosby or Baraclough. Come on Wharton show some grit and at least try to tempt Nigel to stay at our club. |
