OK Leicester was always going to be tough but we should have got something from Tranmere. The lads have lost their edge and are no longer the threat they were a few weeks ago. Mistakes and poor defence is costing us dearly. I am seriously worried about the Alfreton game! Lose that, lose again to Tranmere in the JP trophy, drop a few more league places and the January transfer window could see a mass exodus from Glanford Park. One peice of consolation though....we are still above Leeds! Seriously though, I can see the current leaders running away from us unless we improve and get back to our best form. Comments.....? |

It would be horrible if we lost on Saturday. There's a possibility that it can happen of course. I can't see us winning the JPT tie. We might beat them to a 1-0 win at home and lose the 2nd leg at Tranmere. We don't look the same threat as we did a few weeks ago. I think fatigue is kicking in to too many players. There is something going wrong on the fitness side of things. I would like to know what has happened to Hurst? I don't think he's injured, so why isn't he in the squad? We need new players in January that's for sure. At the moment we don't have a sub that can change a game in my opinion. This is concerning alone as last night we didn't offer Tranmere anything as an attacking threat. I know we hit the post and had a couple of efforts at the start of the 2nd half, but we didn't do anything before or after that. Leicester to win the league now I think. |

So we've lost 2 games, so what!Look at the teams around us - Leic; went through a bad spell and are now top, Oldham; went through a bad spell now 3rd. Oh and where are Leeds?? Still below us!!!! All is good and the lads will bounce back. FA cup has come at the right time for a well needed break from the league. And yes maybe some players need a good kick up the rear so swap it around for sat and let fringe players come prove a point. |

We were **** at Oldham, average against Swindon, hung on at Bristol, were average against Leicester and diabolical at Tranmere. The defence seems to be our problem and as they say, defence starts with the strikers. I support The Iron passionatly and it is disappointing to see them where they are today after all the effort the lads have put in. With so many draws and losses though the stronger teams will get away from us. I will support Scunny come what may and hope that others will too. |
