NORMANBY HALL - COURSE GUIDE
Nearly done - the walk towards the clubhouse on the 18th.

NORMANBY Hall in 2007 is one of the most improved courses in the area. It's an 18-hole municipal course which is also open to membership.
Set in mature woodland, each hole is beautifully tree-lined but also fair to the not-so-experienced golfer.
It has generous-sized fairways and fast, challenging greens.
The two main signature holes are the first and the 16th.
The first is a good, testing par four dogleg to the left, and once you reach the corner you play to a slightly-raised green that's well guarded with bunkers.
The 16th is called 'Devil's Elbow' and is also a sharp dog leg left. It requires an accurate tee shot with an iron, then an accurate second around the corner to the green.
The best thing about Normanby is that no two holes are the same. They are all different in their own right and you will never grow tired of playing them.
The course is also the new home of Starter golf in the area with the all-new Normanby Hall Golf Academy up and running.
Teaching is available for those who have played before and total beginners.
